We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Transport Coordinator to join our friendly, fast-paced team at our Canning Vale branch. As our Transport Coordinator, you'll be at the hub of our transport operations-scheduling, dispatching, and tracking truck movements while keeping our drivers, customers, and other stakeholders in the loop. You'll be planning efficient runs, solving challenges on the fly, and making sure deliveries and pick-ups happen on time, every time-all while ensuring we operate safely and in line with company standards. This is a Monday to Friday, office-based role working 7am-5pm with a strong team environment and the chance to really make the role your own. The daily duties will include Coordinating fleet site movements and scheduling runs for our Tilt Trays and Low Loaders Communicating clearly and consistently with both internal teams and external customers Keeping in touch with drivers to ensure smooth operations Planning smart, cost-effective routes to maximise truck utilisation Troubleshooting and resolving transport-related issues quickly Following up with customers to keep them informed every step of the way Managing resources effectively and looking for ways to improve processes Ensuring all work meets our safety and compliance standards Identifying areas for process improvements and implement solutions. We're after someone who embodies our core values-People, Safety, Respect, Communication, and Continuous Improvement-and brings: Proven experience in Transport Coordination or a similar role Strong knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas A proactive,"can-do"approach-especially in high-pressure situations Excellent customer service skills with a track record of keeping clients happy Competence with Word, Outlook, and databases (hire system experience a bonus, but training provided) Great communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities A genuine commitment to workplace safety (OH&S) Previous load management experience (weights and sizes) is a plus The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Note: Shortlisted candidates will need to complete a typing speed and accuracy test prior to interview.
