Position Overview We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Tallawong centre in September , catering for 78 children across three purpose-built rooms. This is a rare opportunity to establish a new service from the ground up shaping its culture, programs, and community connections from day one. You’ll be supported by a passionate team and the wider Mini Masterminds network as you bring this vision to life. Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance and excellence in quality standards. Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that support children’s development and ignite their curiosity. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for every child. Build strong relationships with families and the local community, promoting engagement and trust. Qualifications and Skills Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Centre Director in a service with at least 50 licensed places. Current paid Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and a National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months). In-depth knowledge of childcare regulations, compliance requirements, and the National Quality Standards. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
