To be successful the following is required: Mechanically minded person to do changeovers, setups and fault finding on packaging equipment. Trade background or high-level mechanical aptitude. In depth knowledge of GMP guidelines and requirements. Ability to pass pre-employment medical along with regular drug and alcohol tests. Ability to work under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Focused with “can do” attitude. Ability to work as part of a team as well as in unsupervised situations. A dedicated attitude to following OH&S policies and procedures. Duties include: Setting up production lines and managing changeovers in a timely manner. Fitting, assembling, grinding and shaping metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment. Fault finding, repairing and troubleshooting machines. Setting and stripping production machinery. Overseeing production and packing workflow. Maintaining Health and Safety as well as Quality standards at all times. Maintaining plant equipment and mechanical parts. Prerequisites: Experience in Pharmaceutical or an allied industry. A Mechanical Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Engineering is preferred but not essential. 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
