Reporting to the skills-based Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead a passionate and specialist team, driving strategic direction, service excellence and sector leadership. Responsibilities Leading the development and execution of strategic and business plans aligned to Lutheran Care’s mission and values, in conjunction with the Board. Leading the organisation with a focus on staff engagement, capability building and a positive and inclusive culture of empowerment and resilience. Ensuring financial sustainability through effective resource management, compliance and risk management. Ensuring sound governance and effective reporting to the Board. Maintaining ongoing productive and highly engaged relationships with external stakeholders including community, government, corporate, funding bodies and partner entities. Representing the organisation as a sector leader and spokesperson, promoting Lutheran Care’s mission through effective communication with clients, donors, partners and the broader community. Qualifications / Requirements Applications are encouraged from appropriately qualified and experienced executive leaders with the commercial acumen and social heart to ensure sustainable leadership of this trusted and highly valued entity.
