Join to apply for the Senior Sales Engineer role at Hitachi Energy The Opportunity We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer to lead sales and tendering activities for high-voltage (HV) products and solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building client relationships, and brings a strong understanding of HV systems and market dynamics. Responsibilities You will drive sales of HV equipment (e.g., GIS, circuit breakers, Econiq, DTB) by identifying opportunities, engaging with clients, and delivering tailored solutions. You will prepare and submit high-quality, timely tenders and quotations with strong technical and commercial content, ensuring alignment with customer requirements. You will build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will advocate for advanced technologies such as non-SF6 solutions and Econiq, and support market education through presentations and roadshows. You will work closely with Account Managers, Product groups, and Marketing to align on strategy, share market intelligence, and support joint initiatives, monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform pricing strategies, product positioning, and business development. You will take full ownership of sales targets, contribute to strategic account planning, and support favorable contract negotiations and terms, ensure adherence to safety, integrity, and quality standards, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce (SFDC) and meet reporting KPIs. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. More than 7 years of experience in technical sales or engineering within the HV industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in English (speaking, listening, and writing).
