Overview Role: HPC Storage Engineer Company: IMC Trading Location: Sydney, Australia (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time IMC Trading is seeking an HPC Storage Engineer to design, deploy, and manage high-performance storage infrastructure supporting global research and trading operations. This role involves collaboration across engineering and research teams to ensure storage systems are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance. Responsibilities Architect and maintain scalable, high-performance storage solutions Troubleshoot complex storage, Linux, and networking issues Integrate storage systems with distributed computing clusters Support global operations and participate in follow-the-sun support Collaborate with internal teams to enhance data workflows Qualifications 5 years in large-scale storage systems or HPC environments Experience with Lustre, GPFS, BeeGFS, Weka, Ceph, S3, PowerScale Strong Linux engineering skills, including bare-metal deployments Familiarity with file systems, block storage, and kernel-level operations Proficient in Rust, Python, Go, or Bash Knowledge of hardware architecture (NVMe, GPUs, PCIe, etc.) Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Slurm, AWS/GCP, Terraform, AI/ML tools J-18808-Ljbffr
