A Quick Snapshot of the Role: As a Digital Director you will be at the forefront of digital planning, analysis, and architecture of media recommendations. The Digital Director is also responsible for the team’s digital output including quality control, campaign implementation, and the tracking and performance of all media campaigns. This role involves mentoring the Activation Team (manager, executive and coordinator) as well as leading and guiding the Search Managers and Executives. Key responsibilities Foster and manage key relationships with clients and day to day campaign management. Provide specialised digital media solutions and recommendations to client’s briefs and business strategies as part of the wider client team – GAD and Offline Directors. Provide client digital thought leadership and expertise across the variety of digital tactics. Manage Activation (programmatic) and Search, to provide overall digital solutions to clients. Ensure quality output and effectiveness internally (process driven) and externally (client responses and media briefs & feedback). Take responsibility for the development and output of your direct reports. Support team training and education on planning tools, principles, and theories. Build and maintain relationships with key media partners. Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach and strong attention to detail. Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Initiative: Proactive, self-starter, clear communicator, and autonomous worker when required. Curiosity: Apply critical thinking skills to analyse complex problems, assess situations, and develop strategic solutions, demonstrating an ability to evaluate information objectively and make well-informed decisions. Technical Proficiency : Expertise with industry planning and reporting technologies (DV360, Google Analytics, Nielsen Ad Intel, Roy Morgan, and Microsoft Office). In-depth knowledge of industry ad products, rich media, specifications, file formats, etc. Experience and qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a digital media or marketing role, with a proven track record of managing teams and search roles directly in a digital media agency or similar field. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in both biddable and non-biddable digital media channels.
