Urbis shapes futures your way! The Opportunity We\'re on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Consultant / Senior Planner to join our Planning team. You will have the choice of being in our Sydney CBD or Parramatta CBD offices, or both. Leveraging your technical expertise and proven skills, you\'ll support our clients by offering sound statutory and strategic urban planning advice and insights. You Will Contribute to multidisciplinary projects, working collaboratively with our inhouse economists, heritage planners, urban designers, social planners and transport planners Provide a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management Develop client relationships by building trust, providing quality advice and managing expectations Write submissions, proposals and advice that accurately reflects the client\'s need Manage small to medium size projects, including scoping and costing of projects, tracking job costs and coordinating consultants and sub-consultants as needed Identify and raise issues which may impact fee estimates or timelines Coach and develop team members Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and support the Planning team\'s Business Plan About You Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline Ideally minimum 5 years\' experience in Urban Planning Ideally some experience in managing planning projects Strong knowledge of statutory and strategic planning, and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment Keen understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development Excels in prioritising competing demands of multiple projects within agreed budgets and timeframes Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous professional development Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and can engage with a variety of stakeholders Why Urbis?
