We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated Kitchen Support - Assistant Cooks to join our Food Services team in these newly created roles! If you have commercial cooking experience and are looking for a varied and interesting work environment this is the ideal position for you. The Position: As a Kitchen Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, nutritious meals to patients and residents by following the BRHS Food Safety Plan and Healthy Choices guidelines. This hands-on role includes preparing and packing meals, handling food safely, assisting with special dietary needs, and maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen. It's a great opportunity to be part of a supportive team making a real difference in the hospital and aged care community. Applicants have availability to work a range of shifts as required between 6.30 am and 7pm, across 7 days a week including public holidays. Why should you apply? Current Safe Food Handling Certificate and knowledge of dietary requirements is desirable. Understanding of food safety and hygiene including temperature, cross-contamination and cleaning protocols.
