About the Role As the Deputy Principal, you will play a key leadership role in driving improved educational outcomes for all students. You will support and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Central to your work will be the development of strong, respectful relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community. This is a temporary part-time position (0.50 FTE) until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. Your Responsibilities As the Mooloolaba State School, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Deputise for the Principal when required. Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development. Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business. Be futures oriented and strategic.
