Freighter Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join our team in Brooklyn, Victoria. As a key member of our Finance team, you'll be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to our business operations, with a particular focus on retaining and optimising our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyse monthly financial and non-financial reports, and assist with daily and weekly reporting requirements. You will monitor business unit performance against budgets and forecasts, and help with the annual budget preparation. Operational Support: Managing and maintaining financial data within our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system and work with our CFO to develop measurements and improvements based on system reports. You'll partner with operational stakeholders, particularly in manufacturing, to provide insights and analysis that influence business decisions. This role also involves monthly account reconciliations and participation in bi-annual stocktakes. Required Skills and Experience Education: You must be tertiary qualified in a finance discipline and have or be working towards a CA/CPA qualification. Experience: We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to retail and manufacturing environments. You should have advanced computer skills, especially with SAP, JDE as well as Microsoft Excel, and the ability to analyse and manipulate data. Ideally hands on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud. Competencies: You will need strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to build constructive relationships across all levels of the organisation. The ideal candidate is a top performer who takes ownership and is constantly pushing for results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this role.
