Vectiq is seeking an IT Incident and Problem Manager to support a high-profile Federal Government department in Canberra. This role plays a key part in ensuring high service availability by overseeing ICT incidents from start to resolution and driving root cause prevention. Key Criteria Australian Citizens with a TSPV clearance Ability to commence early to mid 2026 Responsibilities Incident Management • Lead major incident responses, coordinating technical teams to restore services swiftly. • Ensure incidents are classified, prioritised, escalated, resolved, and closed in line with ITIL standards. • Monitor incident trends, deliver timely reporting, and maintain clear stakeholder communication. Problem Management • Document and manage problems to resolution, ensuring permanent fixes • Facilitate post-incident reviews • Govern the Known Error Database (KEDB) and collaborate with change and release teams. About You • Proven experience managing enterprise-level IT incident and problem management functions. • Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 practices • Experience coordinating major incident response across technical and business teams. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to lead governance and continuous improvement activities in high-pressure ICT environments.
