The Role Remi's Patch is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to help with the daily operations of this highly productive organic market garden. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of full-time and casual staff. We're seeking a Farm Operations Manager with exceptional organisational and people skills to streamline operations on the field and share top-level responsibilities with the owner. This is an opportunity to help transform and elevate this successful young business with the potential to expand. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in successful operations management and a commitment to continuous learning. They will be actively involved in all aspects of the business daily, including hands-on field work, strategy, staff recruitment and training. You will leverage strong communication and knowledge to develop clear work explanations for skilled, repetitive tasks. This will streamline training for new staff and ensure all team members can access standardised approaches. You will work hands-on with field managers, the owner, and the team during harvesting, and are expected to achieve demonstrable results in productivity, data recording, and quality control. The Operations Manager must be physically fit and able to work extended hours, often in diverse weather conditions. Proficiency in safely and efficiently operating manual vehicles with trailers and tractors, and basic mechanical skills are essential. Remi's Patch staff work year-round, with annual leave encouraged during winter.
