The Role We’re on the hunt for a driven and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join this dynamic Wollongong team. This is a pivotal role - you’ll be the engine room that keeps loan applications moving smoothly, working hand-in-hand with brokers, lenders, and clients to ensure settlements happen without a hitch. Think of yourself as the glue that holds the process together - keeping everything compliant, accurate, and running on time. What You’ll Be Doing: Preparing and reviewing loan applications, making sure every detail is spot on. Collecting client information and liaising with lenders to keep files moving. Being the go-to person for clients - updating them, answering queries, and keeping the process stress-free. Coordinating settlements with solicitors, brokers, and lenders to hit deadlines. Managing high volumes of applications while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Ensure all loan applications comply with regulatory and company policies, including responsible lending and NCCP requirements. Solving problems proactively and keeping things running smoothly under pressure. What We’re Looking For: Prior experience in loan processing (brokerage preferred). Knowledge of residential, investment, and commercial lending criteria. Excellent organisational skills - you can juggle multiple files with ease. A client-focused communicator who builds trust and rapport quickly. CRM/mortgage software experience (preferred). Sharp attention to detail and a love for accuracy. The Perks: Competitive salary.
