We are currently seeking an organised and energised Administration Officer to join our team at Bethanie Fields Aged Care Home located in Bunbury on a permanent, part time basis. Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designed specifically to provide support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with special care needs and dementia The role of Administration Officer offers diversity in daily tasks and lots of challenges, therefore we are looking for a well rounded individual with a passion for customer service and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will have highly tuned administration skills and rostering experience along with a genuine interest in the aged care industry. In addition, you will also be willing to act in a front of house role as concierge. In this role, you will assess a variety of visitors’ needs and direct them to the appropriate channels in a professional and efficient manner. This role is offered on a permanent, part time basis. The roster is as follows: Week 1- Friday 10am - 5.30pm Week 2 - Friday 7am -2.30pm There will be the opportunity to pick up shifts for annual leave and sick leave coverage. About You Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative position, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, with understanding of financial management databases and payroll / rostering systems an advantage High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and report writing skills Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one covid and annual flu) Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one) Current NDIS Worker’s Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one) The Role Provide a customer-focused service for employees, residents, visitors and suppliers Assist in the collection and recording of resident information related to admissions Prepare and maintain admission and information packs Assist in management of payroll, rostering and accounts receivable / payable processing Assist with enquiries from families in regards to residents Be the face of Bethanie Fields Aged Care Home and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Other administrative duties as required Working with Bethanie Many of us work because we want to make a difference.
