We are assisting a very busy, dynamic public sector client in searching for an AO5 Project Advisor to work closely with and support, a Significant Projects team, in their ongoing on infrastructure projects This is a contract position that will commence on the 8th September 2025 and run until 8th September 2028. Specifically the position will see you: Managing meetings - coordinating events, facilitating communication, minutes and overseeing the following up of actions / decisionsDeveloping risk & issue mitigation strategies in conjunction with the project teamCoordinating tender and procurement processesManaging the document control and review process which will include drafting and updating project management plansReview and analysis of project documentation to identify issues and risks to be included on registers, databases, and reports.Ensuring that project deliverables meet defined standards by conducting quality checks and reviewsAssisting the Project Manager with project updates around timeframes and budgetary mattersGuiding Project Support Administrators to ensure project support is provided in an efficient and effective mannerEnsure all project support activities, including establishment, maintenance, review and close off, are undertaken in line with relevant guidelines, policies and protocols. To be considered for the role, you will require: Previous experience in a Project Advisor, Project Coordinator or Senior Project Officer roleA strong knowledge of QLD Government workings and or experience working on large infrastructure projects (preferred)Proficient with IT, specifically MS Office suiteHighly organised and able to work to tight deadlinesComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and critical thinking abilityWilling to undertake a Criminal History Check Should you feel this role offers the challenge you are seeking, please forward your current CV as soon as possible
