Here, curiosity, wonder, and joy fill every day for children aged six weeks to six years. It’s a place where little learners begin their big journey, supported by high-quality care, engaging programs, and a strong sense of community. About the role: As our Centre Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of the service. Leading your team, inspiring best practice, and fostering strong relationships with families and the local community. You’ll manage operations with a sharp eye for quality and compliance, while empowering your educators to deliver exceptional care and education. Key Responsibilities: Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times Managing the performance and success of your centre Management of daily operations, budgets, wages, rostering, occupancy Lead, coach, develop and support the professional development of your team Developing strong relationships with families and the community Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations Advocating for the rights of every child within your centre Implementation and evaluation of quality programs that support the development of all children. About you: You’re an experienced leader in Early Childhood Education with a proven ability to inspire teams, engage families, and champion children’s learning and wellbeing. You bring strong business acumen, a deep commitment to quality, and a passion for creating positive outcomes for children. Key skills and requirements: Previous experience working in a leadership role Demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring and supportive environment for all children and their families Demonstrated ability to adhere to the ECA code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services or bachelor’s degree (Early Education) Current Valid Working with Children Check Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate Why Journey?
