Our home is close to the Sandringham shopping area and the many attractions of the Bayside area. About the opportunity Develop and implement individual and group activity programs. Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities. Assist with outings, events, and special celebrations. Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and feedback. Collaborate with care staff and families to tailor activities. Monitor and report changes in residents' behavior or mood. To thrive in this role, you will have: Creativity in planning meaningful activities. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of dementia and other age-related conditions. Basic computer and documentation skills. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure A current Police Record Check First Aid & CPR certificate NDIS Clerance Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
