About the role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker as well as those willing to learn as bakers assistants to join our team at a BRAND NEW Bakers Delight in Upper Coomera, Queensland! This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work for a new bakery with all new equipment including the Rotel 3 Ovens and Panem prover and Retarder, contributing to the production of high-quality baked goods. What you'll be doing Preparation and baking of a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items according to recipes and production schedules Monitoring the quality and consistency of baked goods throughout the production process Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all food safety and hygiene protocols Assisting with inventory management and ordering of necessary ingredients and supplies Providing guidance and training to junior bakers and production staff as needed What we're looking for Formal qualifications in baking Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified baker in a commercial bakery or similar production environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures with precision Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team A passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods What we offer At Bakers Delight Upper Coomera, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
