Run Australia’s Premier Agrifood Innovation Event! Are you ready to take the lead on one of the biggest and boldest agrifood innovation and technology events in the country? AgriFutures Australia is looking for an experienced and motivated Event Manager to deliver evokeᴬᴳ where startups, producers, investors, researchers and corporates come together to shape the future of food and agriculture. What you’ll be doing: Own the end-to-end delivery of evokeᴬᴳ and its side events (Welcome Event, Culinary Capital Dinner, XFactor Women in Tech Breakfast, Startup workshops).Manage the Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) and external suppliers to ensure world-class delivery.Oversee logistics, venues, exhibitors, theming, merchandise and on-the-ground execution.Drive the Startup Program – from applications through to onboarding and post-event reporting.Build and maintain high-value relationships across startup, scaleup, investor, corporate, government and international networks.Supervise and mentor 2 Coordinators and work collaboratively across the organisation.Keep budgets, contracts, procurement and reporting tight and on time. What we’re looking for: 5 years’ experience delivering large-scale, complex events (innovation, agriculture, or tech sector experience is a bonus).Qualifications in event management, project management, communications, business or similar.Strong stakeholder engagement skills – you’re confident with everyone from founders to ministers.Leadership capability with experience managing and developing team members.Proven ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver to a high standard under pressure.Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations with confidence and clarity, securing outcomes that align with strategic objectives and stakeholder interests.A self-starter with initiative, attention to detail, and a can-do attitude.
