About the Role As part of Infrastructure NSW’s Asset Management Assurance team , you’ll provide authoritative, data-driven advice on the performance of the State’s built assets and infrastructure. Your technical expertise will support senior decision-makers, critically review asset management practices and drive policy development. You’ll shape policies that set the benchmark nationally and globally, safeguard value for money, optimise asset performance, and manage risks and opportunities across a portfolio valued at over $500 billion. What You’ll Do Lead asset management assurance review activities, assessing agency asset management frameworks and portfolio performance. Drive uplift of agency asset management capabilities, guiding implementation of the NSW Asset Management Policy. Collaborate on the development and review of strategies, programs, and policies to achieve enhanced asset management outcomes. Manage special projects and contribute to reports analysing the performance of the NSW asset portfolio. Engage with agencies such as Transport for NSW, Health Infrastructure and the Department of Education to understand their asset challenges and opportunities. Prepare high-quality, independent advice for government agencies, the Infrastructure NSW Executive, Board, Ministers, and Cabinet. Lead, motivate, and mentor your team, fostering ongoing professional development and a culture of excellence. What We’re Looking For: Tertiary qualifications in infrastructure-related disciplines such as engineering, commerce, finance, public policy, or equivalent experience. Deep expertise in asset management, ISO 55001, and/or the Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector. Extensive experience in, and a strong passion for, developing asset management processes and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, especially in complex environments. Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and communication abilities. This role is a salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $149,739 - $173,174 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
