About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Power Station Maintainer/Operator (I&E) to join our close-knit team at the Karratha Power Station . This is a residential role - ideal for someone already living in Karratha or ready to relocate to a thriving coastal town known for its strong community and adventurous lifestyle. You’ll be hands on with our General Electric LM6000 gas turbines contributing to operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project work. What You’ll Be Doing Operating and maintaining plant systems for safe and reliable performance Investigating faults, recommending solutions, and driving continuous improvement Responding to plant upsets and troubleshooting issues Participating in planned and unplanned maintenance, shutdowns and upgrades Develop and manage work permits, isolation schemes and standard operating procedures (SOP) to keep everything running smoothly. Supporting station projects and improvement initiatives Participate in a 1 in 4 weeks, on call roster What You’ll Bring Electrical License (High Voltage training and experience preferred) Instrumentation qualification (experience preferred) EEHA certification (preferred) Supervised gas fitting licence (preferred) 5–10 years’ experience in power generation or similar heavy industry Leadership experience in operational or maintenance teams Strong safety mindset and technical capability Team-oriented, flexible and eager to learn What We Offer Relocation costs Competitive remote area allowance Working a 10hr, weekday roster, including 2 RDOs within the fortnight.
