Contact autogeneral.com.au Description The role We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Growth Operations division, focused on delivering control improvements and process optimisation across the Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team. This newly created role reports to the Head of Control Improvement & Implementation and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-evolving area of the business. This isn’t your typical PM role — you won’t have a formal project team or traditional project structures. Instead, you’ll work across a wide range of initiatives, often simultaneously, partnering with internal teams and external affiliates to bring structure, accountability, and momentum where it’s needed most. Key responsibilities: Deliver process and control improvement initiatives in line with strategic objectives Develop and manage delivery plans, RAID logs, and reporting for executive visibility Partner with Line 1 Risk to ensure controls meet regulatory and internal standards Support change management activities across impacted teams Facilitate control assessments, identify gaps, and support sustainable solutions Collaborate with internal teams and affiliate partners (e.g. Coles, Qantas, ING, Virgin) Coordinate training and communication to support adoption of new processes What experience you’ll bring Proven experience in process optimisation and/or control improvement Strong understanding of risk management principles and control frameworks Practical project management skills – planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including with senior leaders Comfort working independently and navigating matrixed environments Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred) Familiarity with RAID, risk tools, or process automation (a bonus, not required) Our Perks Location – Toowong Close to a variety of public transport and easy parking options, the Toowong office has excellent end of trip facilities (including secure bike storage and showers), outdoor spaces and plenty of modern collaborative areas to work and connect with colleagues.
