We’re offering a fixed-term opportunity for a Caseworker – Youth Homelessness Support to join our Youth, Housing & South West team in Geelong. This is a great chance to step into a meaningful role that supports young people aged 16–25 who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team working to create real change in the lives of young people across the Barwon region. About the Role As a Caseworker, you will: Provide intensive case management and assertive outreach to young people and their families Support young people to access safe, stable housing and build independent living skills Develop care plans tailored to each young person’s unique needs and goals Work closely with services across mental health, AOD, education, and family support Facilitate care team meetings and advocate for young people’s needs Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions that promote wellbeing and connection Position Details Fixed term until 30 June 2026 1 FTE working 38 hours per week $101,032 p/a Super Salary Packaging To view the Position Description, please click here Why Work with Us? What We're Looking For We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have: Qualification or equivalent in Youth, Social Work or Community Welfare (Diploma or higher) and experience in client services functions. Ability to form a sound ecological perspective of client circumstances, with minimal information to rapidly determine required support using the appropriate tools. Understanding of the purpose and expectations of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and demonstrated commitment to contributing to a child safe organisation in both practice and culture.
