About the Role We have an opportunity for a casual or part time role (3 days a week), you’ll be the go-to expert for all things technical—leading premium builds and having a broad technical background. You’ll work hands-on with riders, helping them get the most out of their gear and time on the bike. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves problem-solving, and is eager to share their knowledge. What You’ll Do You enjoy meeting and making a connection with riders and helping to repair their bikes You love all things technical about bikes Provide exceptional customer service and technical consulting Accurately book and manage service jobs using scheduling software Collaborate with Rider Care and Service teams to ensure seamless experiences Stay up to date with the latest products and complete Specialized University training Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workshop environment What You’ll Bring 1–2 years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic (retail experience preferred) Strong communication skills and a passion for helping people A love for cycling and enthusiasm for the Specialized brand Ability to lift 25kg and stand for extended periods Availability to work weekends as needed Bicycle mechanic certification is a plus Why Join Us?
