Contribute to the operation and management of the SVH Stem Cell laboratory. Key Responsibility: Provision of clinical services to patients, both inpatients and outpatients including participation in the on-call and consults and bone marrow reporting rosters Completion of 2 face to face clinics at Griffith Base Hospital per month, along with additional telehealth services to Murrumbidgee and local patients Contribute to the teaching, supervision and mentorship of haematology fellows, advanced trainees, and junior medical staff, nursing and allied health staff Participation as sub-investigator in review of clinical trials patients and completion of trials-associated tasks as required Contribute to ward rounds, clinical meetings Contribute to Unit Management meetings Contribute to research in the department Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's: St Vincent's is committed to employing a workforce that reflects the community we care for. Possess, or be eligible for, specialist registration in Clinical Haematology with the Medical Board of Australia; Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent as per Staff Specialist NSW State Award; Demonstrated knowledge, skills and high standards of clinical practice in Clinical Haematology commensurate to experience which is appropriate to the requirements of the position. Experience in high-quality research (basic, translational or clinical research, or informatics) relevant to the development of new knowledge and practices, commensurate with work in an academic teaching hospital environment.
