The key duties of the position include In addition to meeting the Integrated Leadership System profile of the Executive Level 2 , primary outcomes and accountabilities will/may involve: Supervising a range of complex and difficult prosecutions on behalf of the Director; Building and maintaining internal and external relationships, including with other CDPP legal managers, partner agencies, court officials and counsel; Contributing to the strategic objectives of the agency; Leading team analysis of more complex briefs of evidence; Providing legal advice and training to external partner agencies and stakeholders; Utilising a range of legal and practice management systems, including desktop research products and litigation support database applications to analyse and manage evidence and workloads; Fostering teamwork, identifying and leveraging the expertise of individuals, encouraging collaboration and information sharing to achieve positive outcomes; Providing training, mentoring and coaching of team members to improve prosecution effectiveness and promote professional development; and Undertaking performance management responsibilities constructively and on a regular basis.
