We are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual committed to supporting and inspiring others to contribute to stronger reconciliation outcomes for a just and equitable Tasmania. The role The purpose of this position is to lead our Membership program and provide support and strategic advice to Organisational Members to develop and implement genuine reconciliation commitments that achieve meaningful outcomes with and for Tasmanian Aboriginal people, including identifying opportunities to promote systemic change. The Manager, Members and Advisory is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective Members to ensure Reconciliation Tasmania offers relevancy and value, maintaining long term, valued relationships which contribute to the reconciliation vision for our state. The position is responsible for administration, promotion, programming and services for Organisational and Individual members, including overseeing and coordinating our reconciliation commitment facilitation services, as well as responding to member requests for referrals and advice. The role is based on the ability to develop and nurture respectful and trusted relationships with Aboriginal community members, organisations and businesses. This is essential to foster collaboration between Reconciliation Tasmania members and the Tasmanian Aboriginal community and to informing the provision of advice to our members. The role requires close collaboration with the CEO and the broader Reconciliation Tasmania team. As a Manager, this role also contributes to whole-of-organisation strategy, external-facing policy documents, and advocacy.
