We are seeking an experienced leader to step into the role of Operations Manager Community Services- Victoria for a secondment period of 12 months. Overseeing our Community Service programs across Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team of approximately 85 staff across Out of Home Care, Family Services, Family Violence and Early Intervention and Community Development, driving strategic and operational excellence in service delivery. What You'll Do - Manage operational excellence across multiple community service programs - Lead, mentor, and develop a passionate team of community service professionals - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards - Build strong partnerships with stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations - Drive innovation in service delivery models to better serve our clients - Oversee budget management and resource allocation What We're Looking For - Proven leadership experience in community services, health, or social services sector - Strong understanding of Victorian community service frameworks and compliance requirements - Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills - Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations and multiple priorities - Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, management, or related field - Commitment to Baptcare's Christian values and community-focused mission To apply, please email Brendan Coulton, General Manager Community Services (Vic, Tas, NSW) via bcoulton@baptcare.org.au describing your interest and a short application letter how your skills and experience are suited to the role (max 1 page), please include your CV.
