About the opportunity We are looking for a motivated and customer-driven Development Inspector to join our Building and Engineering Assessment section on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves inspecting subdivision civil works being carried out by developers, ensuring the quality and longevity of assets, with a focus on road and drainage systems. You will liaise closely with our Development Engineers to ensure the constructed assets comply with approvals and meet relevant standards. Qualifications and experience Essential: Trade qualifications or Certificate IV in related field Solid experience in the application of skills in all aspects of the job Solid knowledge of application of skills in complex areas of the job Demonstrated communication skills when responding to internal and external customers Current class C driver's licence. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
