About the opportunity We are looking for enthusiastic and fun-loving individuals who share a commitment and passion for sport and leisure to join our Key Venues team as casual Program Host. Program Hosts are required at Blacktown Aquatic Centre, Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope and Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton to deliver exceptional children's programming. Position purpose: Program Hosts are responsible for delivering activities, programs, parties and competitions in a safe and enjoyable manner to attract the maximum participation level. Qualifications and experience Essential: Current CPR Certificate Current First Aid Excellent customer service Excellent oral communication Current Working with Children Check. Desirable: Water Safety Awareness Module e.g. Perform Basic Water Rescues (PBWR) or equivalent (wet side only) Current class C driver's licence Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations Ability to work within a team environment Availability to work flexible working hours. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement. Entry level for this role starts at $29.7584 per hour plus 25% casual loading Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts Trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age Casual working hours Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
