This role is not just about campaigns—it’s about performance, optimisation, and scale. You will lead our marketing team and agency partners, with direct accountability for customer growth, ROI on spend, and lifetime value across all channels (performance, website, email, brand / above the line). While this is a strategic role reporting into CEO, and you will be supported by a team - this is a hands-on, get-in-and-execute role. So, we are looking for someone with experience on the tools, great with numbers and has driven real, measurable and repeatable results across paid, email, and website conversion. Responsibilities : Growth Strategy & Performance Marketing GROWTH : Own and execute the growth roadmap, with a laser focus on acquiring new customers profitably and increasing CLV. DATA : Leverage data and attribution tools to optimise channel performance, audience targeting, and spend allocation. Your focus is on reporting on, and driving the numbers that matter by executing across all marketing channels. PAID PERFORMANCE : Working both on tools and with an outsourced agency. Manage multi-channel paid media budgets (Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, Affiliate, Influencers) to deliver efficient CPA and strong ROAS. Pilot, test and scale new performance marketing channels with strong targeting, continuous audience development, and creative campaigns. CRO : Lead website CRO initiatives to maximise conversion and average order value. Improve conversion rates across every touchpoint. Drive projects that improve site conversions, engagement and overall traffic. CRM / EMAIL : Own and evolve email, SMS, and retention marketing strategy for increased repeat purchase rate and engagement. Champion customer retention, engagement, LTV through segmentation, personalization and automation. CAMPAIGNS : Ensure Trade and Promotional activities and life cycle campaigns are delivered seamlessly end-to-end. Leadership & Team Management Lead and inspire a small team of internal and outsourced digital marketing, website and CRM / retention marketers. Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure deliverables are on-time, on-brand, and ROI-positive. Foster a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, reporting, and accountability. Maintain and improve the company culture and staff satisfaction Brand & Content Integration Partner with Brand, Buying & Merchandising teams to ensure campaigns, product drops, and storytelling align with commercial priorities. Ensure Vine Apparel Brand is represented appropriately and accurately across all website, socials and above the line campaigns with a focus on tone, clicks, revenue and followers Data, Reporting & Insights Develop weekly and monthly reporting on spend, performance, and key growth metrics. Use data to forecast, scenario-plan, and support strategic decisions. Qualifications : 7 years’ marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a performance / growth marketing leadership role in eCommerce Proven track record of scaling revenue through paid media, CRO, and retention marketing. Including growing audiences and optimizing budgets. Strong analytical skills with mastery of Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo (or similar), and CRO tools. Experience managing 7 figure marketing budgets with strong ROI discipline. Deep understanding of the Australian eCommerce market and customer behaviour. Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands highly preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. You are strategic but heavily biased toward execution.
