You’ll be at the forefront of Westpac’s engagement with some of the most high-performing Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) in the market; asset managers, super funds, and global investors. Based in Sydney, this full-time role sits within our Institutional Bank’s Financial Institutions & Government (FIG) industry team and offers the opportunity to lead strategic conversations, originate new business, and build meaningful relationships across a diverse client portfolio. You’ll work closely with product specialists and global teams to deliver tailored financial solutions, drive industry insights, and ensure Westpac’s capabilities are front and centre. To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a mix of relationship-building finesse, financial acumen, and a collaborative mindset. Here’s what will help you succeed : Proven ability to build, grow and manage relationships with financial sponsors and institutional investors. Strong experience in corporate and structured debt, with a solid understanding of credit risk management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage at senior levels. High level of numeracy and comfort navigating complex financial systems and data.
