About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead and support the engineering and sales team in a project-driven environment. You'll drive efficiencies, implement improved processes, and support the rollout of a new ERP system, while maximising the use of CAD/CAM tools for sheet metal production. This role is hands-on and will suit a motivated leader with a strong engineering background who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and management to the sales and engineering team Drive a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement Support sales opportunities with technical input, quoting, and process assessment Lead engineering projects of high value and complexity Develop improved processes and support ERP system implementation Maximise use of CAD tools with CAM integration for sheet metal projects Create documentation and drawings for shop floor production Enter and maintain BOMs and new items in ERP system Provide drawing and engineering support to production and sales teams Liaise across Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure data is captured Undertake engineering changes and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders About You Proven leadership and team management skills Background in manufacturing, sheet metal, or related engineering discipline Hands-on experience with CAD design, drafting, and modelling Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management Strong project management and problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams What's on Offer Permanent, full-time role with genuine career development potential Work with an established and respected Australian manufacturer Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to take ownership and make a measurable impact Great Opportunity for driven individuals who are looking for a long term and rewarding role with a strong stable company.
