Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!) The Opportunity Albany Creek Retirement Village is a well-established community set on 11 hectares of beautifully maintained gardens and greenery that surrounds its villas. With an on-site restaurant and dining room, we have an opportunity for a full-time Cook to join our close-knit kitchen team, to prepare high-quality daily meals for residents. You'll be a great communicator, enjoy being hands-on with 1-2 others in the kitchen at a time and building relationships with residents. If you have experience as a Kitchenhand, Chef, Cook or a passion for food, come and join our team! This is a permanent full-time position working: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9-5pm, Friday 12-7pm and Saturday 9-7pm. Shift times may adjust slightly. What we offer $28.62/hr superannuation relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances. Earn afternoon penalties for the Friday shift and 1.5x Saturday penalty rates.
