The ACT Long Service Leave Authority (ACT Leave) is a Statutory Authority of the ACT Government responsible for the administration of portable long service leave benefit schemes for covered industries within the ACT. As a key member of the ICT and Security team you will report directly to the Chief Information Officer and will be responsible for: The development, implementation and adoption of ACT Leave’s security policies, procedures and practices across the protective security domains (GOVSEC, INFOSEC, PERSEC and PHYSEC) but with specific emphasis on ICT and information security. Implementing security management practices to monitor and mitigate risks related to business and information systems, including the development and ongoing maintenance of a security plan and security risk register. Overseeing the technical operation, security, and lifecycle management of ACT Leave’s ICT infrastructure and business applications including cloud-hosted platforms and SaaS solutions. Coordinating with vendors and managed service providers to ensure system integrity, performance optimisation, patch management, and adherence to security and compliance frameworks. We are looking for an ICT Security Manager who has: Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills. Experience implementing and embedding frameworks, policies, processes, and controls, including technologies, to improve the safety and security of staff, assets, information systems, data, and infrastructure. Ability to identify, analyse, and investigate security events. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities effectively in high-pressure situations. Qualifications in or extensive experience in security, ICT security, cybersecurity, organisational security, enterprise security, or other relevant disciplines.
