Working directly to the Executive Branch Manager (EBM), you will be joining a busy and fast-paced environment in providing executive support to the EBM. You are committed and thorough, with the ability to work at a high level across a range of activities in an agile and fast paced environment. You will be a strong communicator, approachable, flexible, with experience working in the public sector. Ideal candidates will be able to develop strong working relationships with people of all levels across the branch, the group and the Directorate, as well as liaising with external stakeholders. You can work collaboratively within a group, multitask, actively networking with others and engaging in varying types of feedback choosing the appropriate time. 1. Deliver timely, accurate and effective executive support services to the Executive Branch Manager/ Chief Information Officer, Digital Strategy, Services and Transformation, including: a. Diary management, workflow and record keeping for the Chief Information Officer. b. Provide reception, phone message tasks and other administrative tasks as required for the Chief Information Officer. c. Assist in coordinating meetings/conferences including inviting external parties, organising venues, catering and minute taking for the Chief Information Officer. d. Other executive support activities as required by the Chief Information Officer. e. Supporting recruitment and selection processes, new starter induction processes, facilities matters, staff monitoring, managing personnel files and business continuity. f. Provide a range of administrative services for the Branch including preparation of routine correspondence, travel arrangements, filing, stationery and fleet car management, procurement and other administrative tasks as required. 2. Engage and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including ACT Government, Australian Government, school-based staff, external providers and the general public. 3. Understand and adhere to the ACT Government Respect, Equity and Diversity Framework and work with safe work practices that are in accordance with the Directorate’s Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and roles and responsibilities.
