Centre Implementation: Our centre is set to officially commence service delivery October 2025. Hours: Full time (1.0FTE) Contract: Ongoing Location: While our permanent centre is being established in the CBD, positions will be based at Sonder Marion and Sonder Port Adelaide. About the Role: As our Social Worker, you will provide culturally safe, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families experiencing mental distress. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination that reflect the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Framework and the Centre’s holistic, whole-of-life approach to healing. The role supports people across the lifespan and actively promotes cultural identity, self determination, and community connection as protective factors for wellbeing Experience Requirements: Experience working as a Social Worker in mental health, SEWB, or community settings. Experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and families across the lifespan. Experience working with people experiencing complex needs, including trauma, substance use, or family violence. Experience in case management, advocacy, and interagency collaboration.
