About Us The Trustee for Niranjan and Brothers trading as Dee Dee’s Cafe is a popular local Cafe at 1/206 Main South Road, Morphett Vale, South Australia 5162. We are known for freshly hearty breakfasts and lunch, and signature restaurant dishes created with fresh local ingredients. As we are also starting our dinner service very soon and increasing demand in our busy business hours, we are looking for a qualified Chef to join our professional kitchen team. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of Cafe-style dishes, breakfast, lunch, and daily specials. Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of meals. Supervise kitchen operations, including food preparation, portioning, and stock control. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards. Support and train junior kitchen staff to maintain high service standards. Assist in developing new menu items and controlling food costs. Coordinate with Front Staff. Stock order and taking for kitchen operation Skills & Experience Required Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. At least 1 years’ experience as a Chef in a Cafe, restaurant, or commercial kitchen. Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen hygiene. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Leadership skills and the ability to supervise kitchen staff. Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
