Medical Oncology Fellow – Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) Fixed Term Full Time | 86 hours per fortnight Commencing February 2026 | 12-Month Fellowship Sante Recruitment, with over 20 years of experience in medical recruitment, is proud to present an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Oncology Fellow to join the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) at Grampians Health. This fellowship provides comprehensive clinical and research training under the supervision of a highly experienced team of five full-time and five visiting oncologists, offering a rich and diverse training environment in regional Victoria. ✅ About the Role Participate in oncology clinics 4 days/week, including outreach clinics to Horsham or Stawell (fortnightly). Engage in a wide range of multidisciplinary meetings: breast, upper GI, colorectal, urological, thoracic, neuro-oncology, gynaecological, skin cancer, head & neck. Attend consultant ward rounds 2–3 times/week. Contribute to after-hours on-call and weekend ward round rosters. Undertake independent research with mentorship, and play a key role in the busy clinical trials unit (including early-phase trials). Participate in teaching, including medical students from the University of Melbourne and Deakin University, as well as junior doctors. Attend academic forums including Journal Club, M\&M meetings, and the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Group education series. Skills & Experience Postgraduate qualifications and experience in Medical Oncology. Advanced training in oncology (partly or fully completed). Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA. Demonstrated commitment to oncology patient care and research. Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
