We’re seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and help shape the guest experience in one of Double Bay’s most exciting late-night venues.
Part of the Margaret Restaurant family, Bar Torino sits just beneath Gran Torino. It’s where aperitivo turns into dinner, and dinner into drinks—offering a dynamic mix of Italian-inspired food, curated cocktails, and warm, vibrant service across our intimate basement space and street-level terrace.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a high-volume, detail-oriented bar or restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
- Solid product knowledge across spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer
- A quick learner with a positive, guest-focused attitude
- Excellent communication skills—and a good sense of humour never hurts
- Confidence managing service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Current RSA certification is required
While previous management experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who show initiative, drive, and a real passion for hospitality. A commitment to exceptional service standards and a collaborative team approach is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading daily operations—from setup to service and close
- Training and mentoring bartenders in service standards and product knowledge
- Ensuring every guest experience reflects the Bar Torino brand
- Maintaining a fun, professional, and efficient team culture on every shift
