As an accredited Water Service Coordinator (WSC) for Sydney Water , we're expanding — and looking for an experienced Senior Designer or Technical Director to lead our growing WSC team. About the Role: As a key technical leader, you’ll manage and mentor a team of designers, deliver compliant and high-quality water and sewer designs, and drive the success of projects across urban and regional developments. This role offers a chance to combine technical excellence with leadership and business development in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the Sydney Water WSC design team. Oversee end-to-end design and documentation of water and sewer infrastructure. Ensure design compliance with Sydney Water and industry standards. Represent MGP in client meetings with architects, builders, developers, and contractors. Support company leadership and contribute to building team culture and new business opportunities. Coordinate closely with drafters and other disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality outcomes. What We’re Looking For: 10 years’ experience in civil engineering/design, preferably with a WSC background. Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar. Sydney Water accreditation or significant project experience in this sector. Strong Civil 3D and/or 12D software skills. Proven leadership, project management, and client engagement capabilities.
