Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Stores Officer to join our team in Coffs Harbour. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of stores and materials across our regional facilities, supporting operational excellence and customer service delivery. This role is to be based in Coffs Harbour. Key Responsibilities Undertake standard stores operating procedures for the movement and handling of materials. Maximise space utilisation and plant/equipment efficiency to meet stock management targets. Inspect, receipt, and store incoming materials to prevent loss or damage. Support process improvement initiatives with the Materials Manager to enhance productivity. Conduct timely stock counts on high-value strategic items. Provide emergency material services to customers safely and promptly. Monitor inventory levels across tier 2 and 3 stores to prevent overstocking and project item buildup. Complete Workplace Environment Facilities (WEF) and Safety Audits in TotalSafe and action non-conformances. Engage with depot management to ensure customer service expectations are met and improved. Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and stores vehicles, maintaining a safe work environment. About You You’re a proactive and safety-conscious professional with a strong background in warehousing and inventory management. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver high-quality service. Qualifications & Certifications Required: Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or equivalent experience. Driver Licence. Forklift Licence. Desirable: Heavy Rigid Truck Licence. Experience Experience in a similar stores operations role within a large organisation. Skilled in handling and moving stores and project materials. Proficient in stock management procedures and operating relevant equipment. Experience conducting stock checks and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of cost-effective practices in stores environments. Understanding of warehousing policies and procedures. Skills Strong stock management and space utilisation skills. Ability to perform physical warehousing duties safely. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Flexible team player with strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
