The Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for identifying, analysing, and implementing improvements to business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to map current processes, identify gaps, and recommend data-driven solutions. What you will be doing Analyse current business processes using data, stakeholder input, and best practice frameworks Facilitate workshops and interviews to uncover improvement opportunities Create process maps and documentation using tools like Visio and BPMN2.0 Identify inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities across operations Recommend and implement process changes, including AI integration and performance metrics Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure successful delivery of improvements Monitor and report on the impact of changes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives What you will bring Experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operations Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and identify impactful solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation Ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable insights Skilled in managing multiple tasks and priorities within project environments Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, BPMN2.0) and data analysis platforms (Excel, Power BI, SQL) Collaborative and proactive, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and challenging the status quo Familiarity with change management principles and regulatory compliance standards Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as IT, Operations, Risk, and Customer Service Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
