The Role: As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of the entire development process from concept and design to deployment and production support. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers, you’ll help deliver impactful solutions that enhance our digital touchpoints and improve our member experience. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding business and customer problems, exploring potential solutions, and applying best-practice architectural patterns. Writing clean, efficient, modular, and scalable code using TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, and GraphQL Deliver full-stack solutions with a primary focus on mobile application development using React Native Apply an AI-led engineering approach, leveraging emerging AI tools and techniques to enhance development speed, product quality, and user experience Debugging, troubleshooting, and continuously optimizing performance, security, and scalability. Working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build intuitive, high-impact digital experiences. Monitoring system performance, supporting applications in production, and contributing to a you-build-it-you-run-it approach. About You: You are an experienced engineer who is pragmatic, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a strong technical foundation and a problem-solving mindset, you’re always looking for ways to improve digital experiences. We are looking for someone who: Has 6 years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year working with TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, and GraphQL Experienced full-stack developer with a strong emphasis on mobile app development using React Native Strong understanding of full-stack development principles, with the ability to design, build, and optimise mobile-first solutions Embrace and apply an AI-led engineering approach, utilising AI tools and methodologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and product excellence Takes a pragmatic, results-oriented approach, balancing technical excellence with real-world application. Has a strong ownership mindset, taking initiative and accountability for delivering impactful solutions. Collaborates effectively across teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and adapts quickly to change. Understands Agile methodologies, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.
