About the Role Reporting to the Site Manager, the LPOD Officer helps manage access at international boarding gates, conducts thorough searches, and monitors restricted areas. This hands-on position protects the integrity of international flights in line with established security and regulatory standards. Permanent Full & Part-time positions available plus Team Leader positions. Key Responsibilities Complete thorough screening and inspections of property, catering items, and aircraft. Oversee access control and verify travel documentation at designated checkpoints. Record and maintain accurate security logs. Provide professional customer service, assist with lost property, and respond to queries. Support health, safety, and operational procedures, including regular training and compliance activities. What You’ll Bring Essential: Ability to obtain an ASIC Card. Security Licence (relevant state or territory). Effective communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work various shifts. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality. Customer service experience, preferably in regulated environments or aviation security.
