About the Company Our client is a well-established organisation in the health and community services sector, operating multiple premium facilities across Sydney. With continued growth, the finance team plays a critical role in driving compliance, transparency, and operational stability across the group. About the Role Based in Padstow (onsite parking provided), this permanent Senior Accountant role reports directly to the Head of Finance. You will take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, multi-entity reporting, and audit preparation, while working closely with payroll, accounts receivable, and offshore accounts payable teams. This is a hands-on role within a lean, collaborative finance team, offering exposure to complex, multi-entity accounting in the health services sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple entities Assist with statutory and compliance reporting, including preparation for external audit Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes Oversee general ledger integrity and month-end processes Review and reconcile intercompany accounts across multiple facilities Partner with AR, payroll, and offshore AP teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency Maintain and enhance Excel-based reporting tools Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and business support to the Head of Finance About You You are a CA/CPA-qualified Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and prior experience in a multi-entity environment. You’re detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a lean finance team. Experience in health, community services, aged care, or not-for-profit organisations is highly regarded. Strong Excel skills and the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders will be key to your success.
