About the Role: As part of our Parks & Gardens Works Crew, you'll be out in the field maintaining and improving ovals, playgrounds, verges, reserves and public spaces across the Shire. You'll use a variety of tools and equipment to: Mow, edge, trim, spray, plant, mulch, and prune Operate ride-on mowers, whipper snippers, chainsaws, and more Maintain trees, turf, garden beds and irrigation systems Keep parks, streetscapes and recreation areas safe, tidy, and inviting Carry out reticulation maintenance and minor plant maintenance Respond to emergencies and assist with general labouring as needed Report to Works supervisor- Parks and Gardens with notice of faults, damage to reticulation, landscaping, furniture, playground equipment and machinery. Comply with all occupational safety and health requirements of the position to maximise a safe working environment.
