We are looking for a skilled and passionate Principal Cloud Architect to join our team. In this senior role, you will drive enterprise cloud transformation in AWS, combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud technology strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in cloud adoption with a strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, including application modernisation, data and analytics, security, FINOPS, and emerging digital platforms. As a trusted advisor to senior executives, you will articulate CGI’s point of view on the role of technology in driving business outcomes, helping clients navigate their digital transformation journeys. Responsibilities Govern complex AWS cloud transformation programs, balancing technical depth with strategic oversight, to ensure successful client outcomes Build strong relationships with C-suite and senior executives, positioning CGI as a trusted partner for long-term transformation Provide strategic technology advisory, on cloud digital transformation themes such as data, security, and operating model evolution Support business development by identifying opportunities to expand CGI’s services and co-creating transformation roadmaps with clients Stay current with emerging trends in Cloud modernisation, data, hybrid cloud architecture, and DevSecOps, and translate these into actionable strategies for clients Represent CGI’s point of view on cloud transformation at client briefings, industry events, and partner forums, through developing frameworks, accelerators and position papers Mentor and develop CGI consultants, growing the next generation of cloud and technology leaders Share expertise across CGI, ensuring alignment with global best practices while adapting to the Australian Financial Services market Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Required qualifications to be successful in this role Extensive experience leading cloud transformation programs (such as : cloud migration, modernisation, multi-cloud adoption, cloud Finops) Broad technology leadership background covering areas such as enterprise architecture, application modernization, data platforms, or digital operating models Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and represent a strategic technology point of view in boardroom discussions Strong business development and client relationship skills, with a track record of driving growth Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to guide both business and technical stakeholders Appropriate certifications in Cloud technologies Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and security considerations in Financial Services is an advantage but not mandatory Skills Financial Services J-18808-Ljbffr
