About the role: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of our Azure-based SaaS platform. Leading a team of 15 technical leads, architects, SDMs, QA, and developers, the CTO will ensure governance, development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and data privacy controls to support our growth. This role requires leadership experience, technical expertise, team mentorship, and strategic oversight to deliver scalable, secure solutions while maintaining operational agility. About you / Job Requirements: In our SME SaaS environment, leadership of the technology team is critical. Our expectations for the right candidate include: Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, including Azure App Services and Virtual Machines, with skills in .NET, Python, REACT, Node.js. Cybersecurity and Governance: Proven ability to implement security frameworks, data privacy controls, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR) in a cloud environment, managing third-party suppliers. Hands-On Leadership: Strong coding and problem-solving skills, with experience in Web and Mobile Development, Azure App Services configuration, and VM management, along with team mentoring. Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business goals into technical strategies for scalability and cost-efficiency. Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
